Water Tank Refurbishment

The twin water tanks at Levi Strauss’s Northampton NDC, erected in 1998, were in a very sorry state. Algae had covered a large area on both tanks and the original coating had in places almost completely disappeared.

The tanks are used to store the water for the internal Water-Sprinkler System and presented an interesting challenge to the Kettles Specialist Protective Coatings team, mainly because of access. Restricted by trees on one side and restricted by pipe work in between the tanks, the team worked hard to produce a finished project that Levi Strauss are very pleased with. Well done Team Kettles!
